Saturday with the Grandchildren!

Adrienne and the grandchildren came to visit her parents and us in June.

We had so much fun with Abby and Christopher. We made crafts, cookies and watched Enchanted. That is such a good movie.

Abby made a Princess crown and Christopher made a Pirate hat.

That evening Adrienne came over with Eric and we all had pizza for dinner.

Eric is getting so big. He is nine months old now and is crawling.

On Saturday Dale and I took Abby and Christopher to the park. They played on the equipment, we went down the "yellow brick road" and explored some trails, played with balls and bubbles. We had a lot for fun. Next we had lunch at McDonald's. We went to McDonald's thinking that’s where Jason and Adrienne take them. Christopher kept asking for ice cream for his drink. I was a little confused and got them juice. It was a little pricey. When Abby and I were talking, while they were eating, she said, “mommy and daddy take us to Wendy’s because MacDonald’s is too expensive”. Then I realized why Christopher was asking for ice cream, because Wendy’s has a frosty that comes with the meal. Abby was such a little sneak, ha ha…

Then we came back to the house and played.
They have so much fun on the ball and the trampoline!

It was hard to say goodbye to Abby and Christopher that night and we were so sad. They didn't want to go and we didn't want them to leave either. We miss them very much. When we talk with them on the phone Christopher always wants us to come over to his house and when we tell him we can't he wants to come to our house. Someday we'll just have to live closer.
