Since we returned home from Paul’s heart surgery he has been doing exceptionally well. He is growing again and finally made it to 5.3kg. For a couple of months he was hovering in the 5.1-5.2 range and right before surgery dropped to 5.0. We are so happy to see him growing again. He is a very happy little boy who is loving to play and smile and coo. He has so much energy now that his heart is repaired. He is into everything, especially food. He wants to try anything we are eating and just loves gumming on things.
We are just so thrilled to be celebrating his 8 month milestone. His heart surgery was the last of his surgeries that we had big concerns about. We no longer worry about if he will make it we just worry about the path to his recovery. We are so blessed and grateful to our friends and family for your continued support, love and prayers.
