Our dog, JoJo, loves it when
I bake him treats. His favorite treat is chocolate chip cookies without the
chocolate chips. When I bake everything is gluten free and processed sugar
free, so it's healthy for him. The other night I didn't have any cookies for
him. After dinner he jumped up in the
chair at the table and was waiting very patiently for his treat. He was so adorable. I quickly made him a batch
of cookies. He was one happy pup :)
Chocolate
Chip Cookies
3/4 cup blanched almond flour
1/2 cup brown rice flour
1/4 heaping teaspoon baking
soda
1 tablespoon gluten free
vanilla
1/4 cup oil
1/4
cup light agave
Whisk
wet ingredients together and separately, whisk dry ingredients. Add both
together and mix.
Add
1/4 cup gluten free dark chocolate chips and 1/4 cup chopped pecans. Also, you
can mix with the chocolate chips - three to four chopped squares from Chocolove
70% dark chocolate and three to four squares chopped from Chocolove Orange Dark
Chocolate bars.
Spoon
onto parchment lined baking sheet, flatten slightly with damp fingers. Bake at
350 for 10 to 12 minutes. Enjoy!
For doggie treats omit the chocolate and nuts!
