They’re the talk of the town and absolutely adorable. We’re working on his website and hope to have that up and running soon.

This last October I took a trip to California to spend the month with my parents. It was a great trip. My brother and his friend Phil came up from L.A. and we had a great visit.

We went to Half Moon Bay for their annual trip to the pumpkin patch.

We celebrated my Mother’s birthday.

We went to the cemetery, very important family tradition. Some people think it’s odd, but we enjoy visiting and paying respect to those in our family who have passed on. It’s a beautiful cemetery. It has always reminded me of a beautiful, peaceful park. We played Yatzee, another family tradition. We decorated for Halloween.

We took a drive up to Apple Hill in Camino, which is just above Placerville. Made apple pies and caramel corn, yum! We also made some yummy lentil and vegetable soups. I was introduced to a new dinner tradition “Cash Cab”. It’s a great show and a lot of fun to watch during dinner. My mother and I organized my father’s video and DVD collection. He has about 400 Videos and DVD’s. We categorized and alphabetized them. Then we arranged them by category onto shelves. We also created a list of all the DVD’s and Videos that we put into a binder. My father was very pleased and happy when we finished. We watched old classic movies like, The Wolf man with Lon Chaney, Meet John Doe, Lady Eve and Ball of Fire. They were great. I’ve even added some to our collection. I was able to be part of the traditional Thursday visits with Marian. Marian is my mother’s girlfriend from high school. They have always lived close to each other. It was fun to hear about their past together. One Thursday Marion brought over some old magazines from World War II and the early 1900’s. They were interesting to read through. We went for a lot of walks where we were able to have some great visits and check out the neighborhood. I was able to record some family history from my parents. One of the best parts was recording them hugging and kissing. I am really grateful for being able to spend this time with my parents.
