We all know the story of the little boy who cried wolf and as parents we’ve probably all had opportunities to share it with our children. Well, this time it was Jason’s opportunity to share it with Abby and Christopher. They were both listening very intently to the story, especially when the little boy cried wolf, wolf too many times and no one was listening but the wolf. Just as the wolf was going to eat the little boy’s sheep (or as the story is sometimes told, eat the little boy) Jason added a new character to the story, the little boy’s dog. This dog loved the boy so much that he saved him from the wolf by scaring the wolf away and saving the sheep.
Abby and Christopher both share the same room and that night they both had a difficult time falling to sleep. Abby was afraid that the wolf was under her bed and she was keeping Christopher awake. She had been calling for Mom and Dad. When Jason came into the room to see what was wrong and heard about what was bothering Abby, Christopher told him that they needed to get a dog to scare the wolf away. But the story doesn’t end there. Now, when they go to the store Christopher reminds them of the dog they are going to get because it will keep the wolf away and protect them.
When we go to visit them in April I can’t wait to see their new dog.
Awe,the joy of storytelling.

Okay, so lets recap. You have moved to Colorado, are in a new place and are already setting things on fire. Are you really telling me you have nothing new to blog about. We are all anxiously awaiting a new post! Preferably with some pics of your new digs.
